Castle Ridge is a townhome community located in East Hanover in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 183 units in the complex which was built between 1986 and 1990. Castle Ridge offers 2 and 3 bedroom townhomes with 2.5 baths and a 1-car garage. There are no basements, only crawl spaces. Some of the end units have first floor master bedrooms. Castle Ridge townhomes have approximately 2,100 square foot of living space. Models include the Dover, Warwick, and Stirling. The development is a condominium or condo association. As of the year 2017, Town and Country Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $275 and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal. Amenities include a swimming pool and two tennis courts. The community is easily accessible to NJ Route 10.

The East Hanover School District serves public school students from grades K through 8. The schools in the district are Frank J. Smith School (grades K-2), Central School (3-5), and East Hanover Middle School (6-8). Public school students in grades 9-12 attend the Hanover Park Regional High School.
East Hanover is located close to Interstate 280 for an eastbound commute. Interstate 287 runs north-south through Morris County and is located a few miles to the west. The train station in Madison is a few miles south. Newark International Airport is a mere 30 minutes away.
East Hanover offers a Student's Activity Club (SAC), which is sponsored by the East Hanover Recreation Department and the East Hanover Board of Education. This club offers a variety of activities and sports for children in the East Hanover School District from grades K - 8 throughout the year. The East Hanover Community Swimming Pool is located in Lurker Park for all residents of East Hanover for a small fee. Lurker Park also has 5 ball fields, a basketball court, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, ice skating/roller hockey rink, and a picnic area.
