Riverdale Borough (07457) is located in northeast Morris County, NJ. The community has a total area of 2.1 square miles and has approximately 1,000 housing units. There are a mixture of homes in the community with several condo and townhome complexes. The Borough's newest development, The Grande at Riverdale, is a condominium complex built by D.R. Horton. The community features 4-story elevator buildings with 1 and 2 bedroom units ranging from 700 to 1,500+ square feet. Located at the intersection of Route 23 North and Route 287, the complex boasts two beautiful clubhouses with a lounge, fitness center, and swimming pool.
Riverdale is easily accessible by NJ Route 23 and Interstate 287. New Jersey Transit provides bus service from Riverdale to NY Port Authority Terminal in Midtown Manhattan NYC. During rush hour, the bus ride takes about 60 minutes. The train station in Lincoln Park is located close by.
The Riverdale School District serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Students in grades 9-12 attend Pompton Lakes High School.
There are some great parks located in the community which include Koegler Field, Freedom Park, and Appelt Park.
